Come 30 June 2009, I have no job. As much as there is a $1000 training allowance and some redundancy payment, I don’t have the skills to be placed elsewhere in Queensland Motorways and the retraining will not come quickly enough. There are over 200 people for every available job, so where is my job opportunity? |

The Govt department I work in has been merged back into the
Department it got split from a few years ago.
a) there goes hundreds of
millions of $$ wasted on the split/merge,
b) that means there could be too
many staff for what's needed. so what's gonna happen to our jobs?
